How do the Furvaria Charity activities work?
Last year, we collected a total of 2,770 € at Furvaria ONE, a huge amount for a first time convention. We are preparing a few activities for the convention to support this year’s Furvaria charity partner and need your help to make our fundraising as smooth and successful as the last time!
Our charity activities at Furvaria are built around two main parts: the Charity Auction and the Charity Raffle (“Tombola”).
For the auction, we are looking for donated items that might be interesting to attendees and can be auctioned off in support of a good cause. All proceeds from the auction go directly to charity.
In addition, we are organizing a charity raffle. To make this possible, we need prizes that can be raffled among people who donate to our charity partner. These prizes can either be donated directly (similarly to the items for the auction), or supported/sponsored financially so that we can purchase suitable raffle prizes ourselves. The goal is to increase the value of the raffle and create an even stronger incentive for people to donate.

Who is this year’s Charity Partner?
We will publish and announce the information as soon as possible. Currently (as of end of March), we can only say we will be fundraising for an animal welfare project at Furvaria 2026.
Why shouldn’t I just donate directly to the charity partner instead of sponsoring these activities?
You absolutely can, and if that is what you prefer, we wholeheartedly encourage it.
The purpose of our charity activities is to increase the overall amount raised by encouraging additional donations from attendees who might not otherwise donate on their own. By helping us fund auction and raffle activities, you are not only contributing directly, but also helping us create more visibility, more excitement, and more motivation for others to support the cause as well.
And the best part: any funds specifically sponsored for these charity activities that are not needed for raffle prizes will still go to charity. Any remaining amount will be added by Furvaria as part of the final donation to our charity partner.
I’m an artist and would like to help, how?
You can join the onsite “Doodles for Charity” and create something for the auction, or contribute by donating an art commission as a raffle prize or auction item. In either way, let us know using the form! Thank you!
