Beer Tapping

Since 1950, it is a common tradition in bavaria to officially start off a Volksfest with a ceremonial beer tapping.

Similarly, just as last year, we will commence the Furvaria 2026 with a beer tapping ourselves, which will take place on the first day of the convention, shortly after the opening ceremony.

Attendees of all tiers are invited to participate in this event; so come grab a mug and join us to celebrate the start of the next Furvaria!

We’re excited to announce The Overworked Animals as special guests at Furvaria 2026!

With their signature blend of “sometimes serious, sometimes silly music,” the Europe-based furry band is bringing songs like “Who Stepped On Your Tail?”, “YOU PROBLEM,” and “VIEW FROM ABOVE” back to the stage.

Known from previous concerts at Eurofurence, NordicFuzzCon, and the Purple Clouds Festival, OWA is ready to deliver a live show worthy of the company handbook.

Our office is located right between Expectation Management and the Room for Improvement.

Scuba 101 vom Game zur Unterwasserwelt

A relaxed SCUBA meetup with a short intro, a few underwater clips, and lots of open Q&A.

A chill, festival-style SCUBA meetup with a short opening panel and a long, open conversation afterwards.

We start with a quick and easy introduction into scuba diving. What it is, how you get started, what your first steps look like, and what actually matters in the beginning. No overload, no gatekeeping, just a clear and honest overview.

After that, we watch 1–2 short underwater clips to give a real feeling for the environment and experience.

Then the main part begins: an open Q&A and meetup space. Ask anything you want: training, safety, gear, cold water, fears, funny stories, mistakes, or just curiosity.

Natürlich darf der Gaming Aspekt nicht fehlen. Dave the Diver, Subnautica und Endless Ocean sind einige der Scuba Games, über die gerne gesprochen werden darf.

Was kann Schamanismus im Furry-Kontext bedeuten? Dieser Vortrag beschäftigt sich mit Naturverbundenheit, Ritualen, Erdung, Trommeln, Räucherwerk und Selbstwahrnehmung als mögliche Wege, die Verbindung zur eigenen Fursona bewusster zu erleben.

Auch Themen wie Phantomgefühle von Schweif, Ohren oder Schnurrhaaren werden angesprochen. Der Fokus liegt auf einem persönlichen, bodenständigen Zugang zum Thema – ohne übertriebene Esoterik, aber mit Raum für eigene Erfahrungen und Gedanken.

Pen and Paper – Fabula Ultima

Wenn ihr schon immer PnP ausprobieren wolltet und JRPGs mögt, habt ihr hier die Möglichkeit, beides zu kombinieren!

Ich biete eine Runde Pen and Paper an. Gespielt wird das einsteigerfreundliche Fabula Ultima-System. Dieses spielt in Welten, die sehr stark inspiriert von Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Tales of oder ähnlichen Spielen ist.

Wer noch nie PnP gespielt hat, wird von mir behutsam an das Ganze herangeführt. Es wird vorgefertigte Charaktere geben und wir spielen einen sogenannten OneShot. Ein Abenteuer, welches für eine Session ausgelegt ist.

Die Gruppe versammelt sich um ein Mitglied des Königshauses, um Gerüchten um das Auftauchen von Truppen eines benachbarten Imperiums nachzugehen. Werden sie im Krater von Megido Antworten finden, warum Elonia sich dort breit macht?
